You Have Special Abilities And May Not Even Know What They Are!?

We all have unique abilities and talents. Some of us have learned to use them to benefit ourselves through our jobs, while others have made full-time jobs out of them. Having these special parts of our lives make us different from others, while also giving us an innate ability which can be related in some fashion to someone else. Regardless of the talents you have, it is important to not let them go to waste.

Knowing Yourself To Know Your Audience

I have heard multiple people over the years state they have no talents or special abilities. This is an absolute fallacy. We have all been given unique talents. If you think you do not have any, you probably have not discovered them yet. In some cases, you may have discovered them and not even known it! That’s right, you have special talents or abilities right now! It doesn’t mean you will have the ability to fly or read minds, but you might be a natural pianist or guitar player? You might be able to do impressions or speak in multiple languages? You are not limited to one talent either! Once you have figured out one or a few of your abilities you can begin to learn how it affects people. In some instances, your talents can bring joy to others, while other talents can be a great help to some. Regardless, it is important you figure these out.

Beginning Your Journey Or Adding To Your Current One

Having these talents understood can be a huge benefit to your life’s journey. If you are in the medical field, having humor as a talent can bring joy to your patience. Similarly, for those of you in the customer service industry, using impressions of actors can help ease tensions during stressful situations (please check with your supervisor before trying this one). As for me, I have been in the financial realm for a long time. Although I have the impressions and humor talents, my greatest ability is the innate ability to understand financial things. I know it a special ability because finances almost speak to me. Numbers make sense, and the systems behind the values are as similar to me as driving a car. Yes, some cars are more difficult to drive than others, but with time they become easy to understand. Thus, I have made it a part of my life’s journey to promote these skills. This is the driving focus behind why I work with people in person. Also, this is the reason behind why I write to you all every week. I want to help those of you who may not see finances and money the way I do.

Take Action

Let’s recap. You know your audience and you know your talent, now what? Take the next step and take action. Think about this for a minute. There are over seven billion people in the world today. Each one of them has been given unique abilities and talents. Some of them are going to be similar, but many will be different in their own regard. Now, imagine if everyone on the planet were to use their gifts to help or benefit others in some fashion, big or small. What would society look like today? The problem is so many do not take account of their strengths. Even worse, those who do know hide them away from the world. Thus, you only see and hear a fraction of the total greatness we all can offer one another. This is exactly why I have taken action through this blog and through other ministries to help people. Ultimately, it is not about me. This is about using my gifts to bless others. You can too.

Don’t Hold Back

One of the regrets I have right now is waiting to start this up and delaying it. I have started other times before, but due to time and money, it didn’t always remain strong. What I didn’t know is it wasn’t about either of those fully. It was primarily due to my lack of commitment and fear of being rejected by others. I was afraid no one would care or want to hear about the stuff I had to say. I have been proven wrong, thankfully. The emails and comments I get make all of this worthwhile and provide strength for me to keep going. I implore you to do the same. Do not wait, all it will lead to is a regret of wishing you had just started!
