Managing Employees: How To Effectively Manage Thousands of Employees
A Task for Everyone, and Everyone With a Task
Finance Free Life has prided itself through the ability to have thousands of employees at our disposal on a monthly basis. One thing to understand is it was not a dramatic growth overnight. It required a long-term plan to get to the employee size we have. One of the keys to achieving this is the structure of having a task for each employee and ensuring they stick to their duties. Unfortunately, this has not always been as easy as one would think. There have been many months where a number of them have had nothing to do which resulted in a waste of resources. Ultimately, with a change in the structure, this was remedied
Your Employees
Now, many of you might be confused as to why I would be writing about employees and managing staff. The truth is closer to home than you realize. Imagine if you will, how the context you were just reading would change if I gave you some additional knowledge. Ready? The employees I am referring to are theĀ Dollars we use to work within our budget. This makes a little more sense now, right? We have said it in other posts, you are the CEO of your finances! Start treating each and every dollar you have as an employee. They never complain, never need a sick day, do exactly as you tell them, and they don’t even need to be paid! If you were running your own business, wouldn’t you take full advantage of employees like this?
Increase Your Employees
Finding out you have hundreds or thousands of employees ready and waiting to listen to you, the empowerment you now have is real. You have the ability to shape how they work. This structure you will use is your budget. The better the budget, the more effective your employees will be able to work. Through their efficiency, you have the ability to retain more employees for future jobs. The number of employees you could potentially have is infinite!
Treat Them With Respect
Having so many working for you can be a little overwhelming at times. When everything appears to be running smoothly, do not become complacent with letting a group of them do something out of the ordinary. Would you want to let 50 of your best employees waste their time with a random kitchen gadget they saw on TV? No, of course not. You need to have the budget structure in place to provide job stability for these “dollar employees.” This provides peace for you and them as to adequately describe what is expected from them.
Your Employees are Your Life
Ultimately, it is important to understand these employees (your dollars) are your livelihood. Without them working to your benefit, your business (your life) will not run smoothly. There will be unforeseen bumps, issues, and problems throughout your business. It will be imperative to have adequate staffing to contend to these matters appropriately.
