The “Work from Home” job marketing can be very appealing. And the internet has picked up on this sensation. Between robots calls, emails, and advertisements, everyone promises a “real” job where you can earn $10,000 a month in income. Some are legitimate, some are not. How can you tell them difference?

Here are the top ten work from home jobs on our list.

1. Freelance Writing

If you love to write, this one is for you. As a freelance writer, you write anything from articles, blog posts, essays, and more for a variety of clients. 2. Transcription

Transcribing is basically the practice of transcribing video, audio and other files for any number of reasons. It could be for the use of academics, entertainment, films, media, etc. This is great for people with lots of patience, attention to detail, and an ability to sit for long periods of time to conduct work.

Primarily, there are 2 types of transcription – General and Legal.

General transcription is the service mentioned previously.

Legal transcription is the service of transcribing similar to general transcription, but with the addition of legal vocabulary and expertise.

4. Scopist

Scoping is a very niche opportunity. Legal documents for court reporters are edited by scopist. It is the primary job of a scopes to review the court transcripts and ensure their accuracy. Essentially, scopists finish the draft of the court documents provided to them.

Starting out, a scopist can make $20 per hour. As skills and experience increase, the hourly rate can increase to $35-40 per hour.

5. Blogging

Of course, blogging must be mentioned as a way to earn income from home. As a blogger, your job is to engage a specific audience with your content. They then market a variety of things to those followers. Whether it be advertisements on the website, affiliate marketing, or building their own products, blogs can make an income from a variety of sources.

7. Graphic Design/Web Design

If you are talented in the area of design, this work-from-home job is perfect for you. As a graphic designer, you create and design graphics for companies, whatever their request is. Graphic design could be company logos, images, even creative elements for teaching and training.

Web design is similar, but does require more experience. Many freelance workers offer their services, and receive payment all virtually. Fiverr, Upwork, and Guru are all sites which host freelancers for a variety of work. Check them out!
