You Don’t Need Special Powers To Plan For Future Finances

We all like to see superheros in action movies to defeat the bad guys. However, you never really think about heroes in everyday life with simple powers or a unique set of skills. You might even be one of them and you didn’t even know it! Real “powers” might be a stretch in the normal way of thinking about it, but you might be able to come close. In some cases you can even develop a set of skills to help you in life which might seem like crazy skill to others! A skill or super power such as figuring out how to make money work.

The Power Within

Yes, it might sound cheesy, but having a skill which makes you great at managing money might seem super to others. The best part is, many of you don’t need to work that hard to make it a reality. Managing money is more or less logic. Logic in itself is something you have to learn how to develop over time. However, logic is not just set to one criteria. You have develop your power of logic from interacting with everything in life. It can come from work, school, eating, etc. Regardless of what you do, all you need to do is learn to think about things as a whole and with respect to different outcomes. Once developed, it will come in very handy through all parts of your life.

My Semi-Uniqueness

Having the ability to take a situation and deconstruct it to find the key points and how it might affect different things, is a great help. I started my logic training at a very young age through different facets of my development. It has allowed me to repeatedly make big decisions effectively, build large projects, and make sounds financials decisions. In a recent conversation with Jordan, we were talking about our finances and debt payoff. After taking a moment to explain some things on how everything was going to play out over the next 6 months, she stopped and looked at me almost confused. She said, “The way your brain works when thinking about things is crazy!” It was definitely a compliment, but it reaffirmed that I was different in the way I think things through logically with foresight.

I Shouldn’t Be Alone

Having this conscious process of thinking about how things are going to work out from different views should not be limited to just me and others like me (likely few). There is nothing special about the way I think things through. The reality is, we should all be able to do this (and we can). Unfortunately, I feel many of us have not taken the time to be in these situations or to make the effort to think things through like this. This is a fairly easy skill to learn and develop, what are you waiting for? Especially if you are still struggling with financial decisions as you get out of debt, this skill is great. Begin today to start thinking about how to logically make decisions in your life and finances.
